Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Magento Developer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Magento theme customization, module development, performance optimization, and building complex eCommerce solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Magento architecture, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to take ownership of projects from planning through deployment. This role also includes mentoring junior developers, contributing to solution design, and ensuring best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Magento themes, modules, and extensions for complex eCommerce projects.

• Architect, implement, and support Magento Commerce/Enterprise solutions with a focus on scalability and performance.

• Work extensively with PHP, MySQL, MVC architecture, and Zend Framework.

• Ensure high-quality code, optimize performance, and implement strong security measures.

• Debug and resolve Magento-related issues with quick turnaround times.

• Optimize database queries, caching strategies, and overall system performance.

• Follow PSR coding standards, Git-based workflows, and Agile development methodologies.

• Work with web servers (Apache, Nginx), CDN setups, and distributed caching tools (Memcache, Redis).

• Stay updated with Magento releases, security patches, and emerging technologies.

• Manage and deploy applications on Adobe Commerce Cloud infrastructure

Good to Have

• Experience with GraphQL, Magento PWA, and headless eCommerce implementations.

• Proven experience integrating third-party systems such as ERPs, Payment Gateways, Shipping APIs, and 3PL solutions.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Adobe Certified Expert or Adobe Commerce Developer certifications will be a plus.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-5 years of hands-on Magento development experience (Magento Commerce/Enterprise preferred).

• Strong understanding of Magento fundamentals, architecture, and performance optimization techniques.

• Proficiency in GIT/SVN, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern front-end practices.

• Experience with debugging tools and eCommerce security best practices.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver on time.

• Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
