Changing Roofing Estimates with Location Intelligence and Real-Time Pricing

Client Overview

ClickRoof set out to solve a common headache for homeowners: It shouldn't take days to get a roofing quote by having some contractors visit the property, measure, and send estimates. Their platform reverses that model entirely. You type in your address, the system locates your roof, using mapping technology, and you get real pricing based on the materials you actually want. No back-and-forth emails. No waiting around for quotes that might never come.

The whole thing runs on location intelligence combined with live vendor pricing. Users pick their shingle colors, see their roof on a map, and book a contractor, all in one go.

Key Challenges

Getting this platform off the ground meant solving some pretty specific problems:

Our Solution

After digging into what they needed operationally and where they wanted to scale, we built a web platform around Mapbox for the roof visualization piece. The quote engine updates live based on what users select, and the admin panel handles all the vendor management and rate setting. We designed it knowing they'd eventually want vendor-facing tools, so the architecture supports adding those features without rebuilding everything.

The Results

The platform delivered some solid wins across the board.

Seamless User Experience

Seamless User Experience

Mapbox plus the live quoting made things simple enough that homeowners could figure it out without instructions. No technical knowledge needed, no phone calls to schedule estimates.

Transparent Quote Visualization

Transparent Quote Visualization

People could see their costs change in real-time as they picked different options. That cut way down on the "Can you send me a quote for..." emails and follow-up questions.

Operational Efficiency

Operational Efficiency

Having everything run through the admin panel streamlined how vendors got managed and how customer requests flowed through. Less manual coordination meant faster turnaround.

Improved Booking Confidence

Improved Booking Confidence

The Stripe integration made bookings feel legitimate. Vendors knew they had confirmed customers with skin in the game, not just tire-kickers.

Scalable Infrastructure

Scalable Infrastructure

The way it's architected, they can add vendor dashboards or other features later without tearing everything apart and starting over.

Future-Ready Architecture

Future-Ready Architecture

Modular design means expanding into new markets, adding services, or building out advanced features won't require rebuilding the foundation.
