ClickRoof set out to solve a common headache for homeowners: It shouldn't take days to get a roofing quote by having some contractors visit the property, measure, and send estimates. Their platform reverses that model entirely. You type in your address, the system locates your roof, using mapping technology, and you get real pricing based on the materials you actually want. No back-and-forth emails. No waiting around for quotes that might never come.
The whole thing runs on location intelligence combined with live vendor pricing. Users pick their shingle colors, see their roof on a map, and book a contractor, all in one go.
Getting this platform off the ground meant solving some pretty specific problems:
The platform delivered some solid wins across the board.
Mapbox plus the live quoting made things simple enough that homeowners could figure it out without instructions. No technical knowledge needed, no phone calls to schedule estimates.
People could see their costs change in real-time as they picked different options. That cut way down on the "Can you send me a quote for..." emails and follow-up questions.
Having everything run through the admin panel streamlined how vendors got managed and how customer requests flowed through. Less manual coordination meant faster turnaround.
The Stripe integration made bookings feel legitimate. Vendors knew they had confirmed customers with skin in the game, not just tire-kickers.
The way it's architected, they can add vendor dashboards or other features later without tearing everything apart and starting over.
