Our innovative SCADA solution is crafted to simplify operations with advanced monitoring and control features. By leveraging Amazon RDS for MySQL, we offer scalable and secure database management, complete with high availability and automated backups. The solution provides versatile reporting options—such as tabular, comparison, graph, and site schematic views—giving users comprehensive insights for informed decision-making. Real-time alerts and notifications keep stakeholders up-to-date on sensor data, ensuring proactive management. Additionally, customizable roles allow different companies to collaborate effectively within the project framework.
We faced some major challenges in this project including robust security measures and cost-effective resource management. The crucial issues hindering an effective solution are mentioned here.
To address these challenges, we proposed leveraging AWS RDS (Relational Database Service) for MySQL. This solution would automate database management, provide scalability, enhance security, and optimize costs, while ensuring high availability and performance.
