Coordinated Laundry Operations for Skipwash with a Multi-Tenant Marketplace

Client Overview

Skipwash is a laundry marketplace built for partnered residential buildings. Residents of enrolled buildings book pickup and delivery from approved laundry vendors, and each building runs as its own ecosystem with structured scheduling and controlled vendor operations. The platform spans four applications: an Admin Panel, a Customer Panel, a Vendor Panel, and a Delivery Partner App.

Vendors, delivery teams, and building staff were coordinating through spreadsheets, phone calls, and manual follow-ups. Nobody had a single view of an order from pickup to delivery.

Key Challenges

A multi-building laundry marketplace brought challenges across logistics, vendor management, billing, and platform reliability.

Our Solution

Our first step was mapping how an order moves through the network. From that map we proposed a centralized multi-tenant marketplace covering the full laundry lifecycle, from booking through vendor fulfillment and final delivery. The proposed scope also covered QR-based laundry bag tracking. Four dedicated applications share one backend, sized for high order volumes across multiple buildings and vendors.

The Results

The outcomes below are expected as Skipwash rolls the platform out across its partnered buildings.

Centralized Operational Visibility

Centralized Operational Visibility

Admins, vendors, and delivery teams track orders, pickups, processing, and deliveries in one system. A single order record is set to replace the phone calls and spreadsheets the network relied on.

Reduced Manual Coordination

Reduced Manual Coordination

Subscription order generation, vendor assignment, capacity validation, route orchestration, notifications, and payouts all run automatically. With standardized workflows across buildings and vendors, manual effort for the operations team is expected to drop significantly.

Balanced Vendor Workload Distribution

Balanced Vendor Workload Distribution

Capacity-aware allocation is built to spread orders evenly, with no single vendor carrying the load. Fairer distribution is expected to hold fulfillment steady as volume grows.

Improved Customer Experience

Improved Customer Experience

Residents get building-specific service access, recurring subscriptions, real-time order tracking, and live notifications. Every delivery stays visible from pickup to drop-off.

Financial Transparency and Dispute Control

Financial Transparency and Dispute Control

Stripe-powered settlements are expected to give vendors and buildings clearer payout visibility while reducing reconciliation complexity. Payout holds keep contested orders from settling until investigation and resolution are complete.

Scalable Marketplace Foundation

Scalable Marketplace Foundation

A modular architecture gives Skipwash room to add partnered buildings, vendors, delivery partners, and subscribers. It is designed to absorb higher transaction volumes over time.
