Prolingo required an integrated, scalable solution that addressed these challenges while also improving the overall quality and reliability of its services.
To address Prolingo’s challenge of enabling online and real-time multilingual interpretation, VT Netzwelt Pvt. Ltd. developed a highly customized Simultaneous Interpretation System, designed to deliver seamless language interpretation for live events. The solution was tailored to interpreters, technicians, and audiences, ensuring smooth communication regardless of geographic or network constraints.
The solution had to provide the following:
• Real-time language interpretation simultaneously for multiple languages.
• Support for remote interpreters via secure VPN access.
• A platform that worked seamlessly across devices, including tablets, smartphones, and laptops.
• Offline capabilities using local intranet networks to ensure events could run without internet dependency.
The ProLingo Interpreter App was designed specifically for accredited interpreters to facilitate real-time interpretation during live events. Built for Android tablets, it provides interpreters with the tools they need to participate in on-site as well as remote events, ensuring seamless communication between presenters and a multilingual audience.

Document Repository : Centralized document repository for easy access to session materials. Technicians and admins can upload documents in multiple formats (PDFs, images, audio, video). Interpreters access materials in read-only mode for reference during sessions. Supports diverse file types to ensure comprehensive event preparation.

Local and Remote Support : Supports remote interpreters via a secure VPN connection for full functionality. Enables remote access to the event network with minimal latency. Ensures seamless participation alongside on-site interpreters. Provides secure, real-time connectivity for remote interpretation sessions.
The ProLingo Audience App allowed the attendees to access live session interpretation directly from their mobile devices or via a browser-based Progressive Web App (PWA). The app provides a user-friendly interface, enabling participants to follow sessions in their preferred language without any delays or installation hassles.

The portal enabled event technicians to configure, manage, and monitor events in real time. It serves as the central hub for ensuring the smooth operation of the simultaneous interpretation system, providing technicians with full control over sessions, interpreters, and audio settings.

The admin portal, hosted in the cloud, served as the master control system for event administrators. It provides a comprehensive suite of tools designed to manage events, interpreters, technicians, and audience members across multiple sessions. Event Setup and Management : Configure event details, including dates, session titles, descriptions, and locations. Set access levels (open/restricted) and manage audience size per session or language channel. Support multi-session, multi-location events for seamless coordination.
User and Interpreter Management : Manage both pre-registered and on-site attendee registrations. Control interpreter assignments, monitor availability, and manage credentials. Track interpreter activities like login times and microphone status in real-time.
Event Reporting and Analytics : Real-time dashboard for tracking interpreter activities and audience engagement. Generate detailed reports on user participation, session attendance, and interpreter performance.
Event Data Management : Upload, manage, and organize session-related documents (PDFs, images). Control document access with expiration settings and activity logs for modifications.
Security and Access Controls : Manage technician user permissions to restrict event configurations. Secure access with multi-level authentication to protect sensitive event data.
Automated Equipment Assignment: Technicians allocate IP cameras and microphones to presenters, streamlining setup. Interpreters receive feeds directly without manual intervention from presenters.
Seamless Streaming Integration: System pulls streams from assigned devices for interpreter access. Presenters can focus on content, while the app handles all streaming logistics automatically.
