- Work in teams on an original business idea
- Learn from mentors who run their own companies
- Practice pitching in front of experienced entrepreneurs
- Compete for a place at the TYE Global finals
We're proud to share that our Founding Partner and Director, Nitin Jain, has joined the TYE Global (TiE Young Entrepreneurs) Leadership Committee for 2026-27, representing TiE Chandigarh on a global platform.
This is a proud moment for all of us at VT Netzwelt.
TiE Young Entrepreneurs is the TiE Global program that introduces high school students to entrepreneurship. Run through TiE chapters around the world, it pairs student teams with mentors from the TiE network as they shape their own business ideas and pitch them at the chapter and global level.
The TYE Global Leadership Committee contributes to the vision behind that program. As a member, Nitin will help shape how TYE grows and what young founders take away from it, while bringing TiE Chandigarh's voice into those conversations.
His appointment is also a win for TiE Chandigarh and a sign of the growing role the chapter plays within the wider TiE network.
This global role builds on Nitin's work with the chapter at home. He has served as a Co-Chair of TiE Chandigarh's Cross Border Core Team, which helps local entrepreneurs build international collaborations and grow their businesses beyond borders.
That experience sits well with a global committee. Cross-border work is about connecting people across regions, and TYE does something similar for students, linking young founders in one city with mentors and peers across the TiE network.
Through TiE Chandigarh, TYE is open to students from Class 9 to Class 12. For many of them, it is the first time they work on a business idea outside a textbook.
Students in the program get to:
Having someone from Chandigarh on the global leadership committee keeps the region's students in view whenever the program's direction is discussed.
Working with founders has always been part of who we are. Today, many of the ideas we help bring to life have AI at their core, and our teams support them through AI development and end-to-end AI transformation for businesses ready to put AI to work. Nitin's role at TYE connects that everyday work with the founders of tomorrow, who will build their companies in an AI-first world.
Supporting young talent is close to our hearts too. In August, we sponsored school students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Dehradun to visit IIT Roorkee's STC Tech Fair 2026 as part of our CSR activities. This new role feels like a natural extension of that commitment.
Nitin's appointment also sits alongside other community roles held by VT Netzwelt leaders, such as our Co-Founder Surender Vikram Singh joining the NASSCOM Regional Council for North India.
We're excited to see what this term brings for TYE and its student founders, and proud to see Nitin represent Chandigarh and VT Netzwelt on a global platform.
Congratulations, Nitin, on your appointment to the TYE Global Leadership Committee.
If you're a founder with an idea you want to build, let's talk.
