An ongoing Shopify partnership that builds conversion features, branding, and inventory automation into the store instead of bolting on apps.
Galore sells direct to customers on Shopify but ran close to a stock Origin theme, leaned on apps for basic features, and worked with an ERP that did not connect to the store. The setup looked generic, carried needless app weight, and left inventory and tracking gaps that staff had to manage by hand.
We took on Galore as a continuous development partner rather than a fixed project, which let us treat the store as something to refine over time. One decision shaped most of the work: keep features inside the theme instead of reaching for third-party apps. That choice kept the site fast and the code under our control.
On the storefront, we customized the Origin theme and reworked the product cards so the store carried Galore’s brand rather than a default look. We rebuilt the cart experience and added a free shipping progress bar natively, with no extra app required. We also repaired the order and shipping email flows so customers received correct tracking links and accurate shipment details.
The harder problem was inventory. With no native bridge between Galore’s ERP and Shopify, we designed an automation that watches for partially fulfilled orders whose remaining stock had hit zero, then surfaces them for the team. That moved a manual, easy-to-miss check into something the system handles on its own.
A relationship built to run over time meant improvements could compound instead of arriving in one big push. Galore gets steady progress, and we keep deep context on their store.
The decision to build features into the theme kept the store fast and lowered long-term maintenance and app costs. Fewer dependencies also meant fewer things that could break after an update.
Rather than forcing a full integration, the automation targeted the exact failure case that hurt: partial fulfillments with zero remaining stock. Narrowing the problem made it solvable and reliable.
Custom theme and product-card work shifted the store from generic to deliberate. Small visual decisions added up to a storefront that earns more trust.
The tracking-email corrections addressed a problem buyers felt directly. Reliable post-purchase communication is what keeps people calm after checkout.
