Position Summary

As a Conversion Rate Optimization Expert, you will be responsible for driving measurable improvements in our website’s conversion rates and optimizing the user experience to enhance customer acquisition and engagement. You will play a pivotal role in maximizing our online revenue and ensuring that our digital marketing efforts are effective and efficient. We are looking for an innovative and data-driven individual who can identify opportunities, implement tests, and analyze results to optimize our conversion funnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategy to increase conversion rates across our website and landing pages.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior, website performance, and conversion metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, development, and content, to implement CRO initiatives and improve user experience.
  • Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, heatmaps, A/B testing platforms, and user feedback to gather insights and generate hypotheses for testing.
  • Plan, implement, and manage A/B and multivariate tests to optimize various elements of the website, including layout, messaging, forms, calls-to-action, and pricing.
  • Analyze test results and user data to draw actionable insights and make data-driven recommendations to enhance conversion rates.
  • Identify and troubleshoot barriers to conversion, such as usability issues, technical glitches, or friction points in the customer journey.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to CRO, and incorporate them into our optimization strategies.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate progress and insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align CRO initiatives with overall marketing goals and campaigns.

Required Skill Set and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. A relevant master’s degree is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO) and heatmapping tools (e.g., Hotjar, Crazy Egg).
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices in web design and user experience.
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels and their impact on conversion rates.
  • Ability to think creatively, generate hypotheses, and conduct experiments to validate ideas.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
